Final Act.
In conformity with paragraph 3 of the Final
Act of the Convention for the Abolition of Import and Export Prohibitions
and Restrictions, signed at Geneva on November 8th, 1927, the
Council of the League of Nations convened two Diplomatic Conferences,
which were held at Geneva from March 14th to 16th, 1928, and from
June 28th to 30th, 1928.
These Conferences drew up and adopted the International
Agreement relating to the Exportation of Bones of even date and
also the Protocol annexed thereto.
The Council of the League of Nations appointed
as President of the Conference:
M. D. Serruys, Director of Commercial
Agreements at the French Ministry of Commerce, Chairman of the
Economic Committee.
The secretarial work was entrusted to M.
Stoppani, M. Stencek and M. Smets, members of the Economic
and Financial Section, assisted by M. Arcoleo, member of
the Legal Section.
The following Members of the League of Nations
took part in the work of the two Conferences mentioned above and
